Investment Officer - Grand Island: Open until January 31st

Position Summary:
Advisor responsible for prospecting and maintaining customers of the banks investments and insurance. Source, review, do due diligence, and execute new investments. Monitor existing investments. Ensure the appropriate oversight of assets and that they are growing in line with expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with potential individual and corporate clients which enable you to understand their key financial goals and objectives.
Recommend strategies clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including specific recommendations in such areas as investments, insurance and financial planning.
Manage resources prudently to meet client expectations and needs while delivering services in a cost effective way for organizational profitability.
Meet all compliance expectations consistent with appropriate industry standards.
Maintain knowledge and stay abreast market developments in related fields that affect our clients and the organization.
Develop sales strategies and relationships to attract new clients and expand existing investment relationships.
Serve in a team environment that values supporting both those in your department and those who are specialists in other organizational product and service areas.
Monitor account activity and portfolio mix to ensure the client’s established investment guidelines are consistently met
All other special projects, reports and duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills
Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in the industry with demonstrable investment experience.
FINRA Series 7 license required
IT literate and experienced in one of Microsoft Office and a good working knowledge of Excel.
Be a proactive, self-motivated individual and be good at managing own workload
Excellent numerical, analytical abilities
Demonstrated sales skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business or related field

Status/Standard Schedule:
Salaried position weekly Monday through Friday between the hours 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and any additional hours needed for department needs.
