Loan Processor - Grand Island - Stolley Park: Open until October 26th

Five Points Bank in Grand Island is seeking a Loan Processor. The candidate will provide loan support to loan officers, prepare loan documents, verify and gather required loan documentation, process loan payments and court filings.

Job Duties:
Order appraisals, credit reports, flood determinations, title commitments and insurance information
Request verifications of employment, deposits, assets and other documentation
Upload and verify information input into operating system
Create and maintain all loan files
Create and track outstanding file exceptions on tickler listing
Track and maintain floor plan units, titles, and payments
Process loan payments and disbursements
Answer incoming customer calls; give rates, account balances, CD’s and loan balances and loan payoffs and greet customers
Confirm final title policies on closed loans
Back-up New Accounts
File new titles/liens, UCC and EFS filings
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Fiserv/Premier and Laser Pro Software preferred
Effective communication skills; written and verbal
Strong understanding of farm credits and mortgage closing procedures preferred
Time Management and Prioritization skills
Strong customer service skills
General office skills; faxing, scanning, typing, copying, filing, phone skills, etc.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required.
College level courses and/or degree preferred.
Two year’s loan/Banking experience required.
Experience with ITI/Fiserv/Laser Pro preferred.

Standard Schedule:
Full Time Hourly position Monday thru Friday (8 am-5 pm) and Saturday rotation.

Teller/New Accounts - Kearney Central Ave: Open until November 9th

Five Points Bank in Kearney Central Avenue is seeking an individual for Full-Time Teller/New Accounts. The candidate will process deposits and pay out funds in accordance with bank procedures; to record all transactions accurately, balance each day’s operations and open accounts while providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties:
Receives cash and checks for deposit, verifies amounts, and looks for check endorsements.  Examines cash carefully to guard against acceptance of counterfeit bills.
Cashes check for customers after verifying identification and checking account balances in accordance with bank policy
Enters transactions into computer and issues customer receipts
Counts cash balance at beginning of shift and balances cash and checks against computer records at end of shift
Prepares certified checks, cashier’s checks, gift cards and travelers’ checks as requested
Explains bank services and charges to customers
Process ATM deposits
Observes suspicious behavior and report any such activity
Assists customers in opening accounts and general customer service
Balance coin machine, vault balancing including cash sales and money ordering
Scanning deposits and payment transactions
Open New Accounts (Checking, Savings, CD’s, IRA’s, HSA’s) 
Process the renting, accessing and closing of safe deposit boxes
Daily balancing of all monetary instruments
Assist in balancing of the ATM
Greet and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel to meet their financial needs.
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Excellent Customer Service skills
Two years New Account/Teller experience required
Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Communication Skills – The ability to communicate effectively
Mathematics – using mathematics to solve problems
Problem Solving Skills – The ability to find resolution to problems in an efficient, practical manner
Time Management – managing one’s own time and the time of others within the group
Administrative skills – basic computer skills including 10 key experience

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) with Two years New Account/Teller experience required.

Status/Standard Schedule
Hourly full time position with varying hours Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. and Saturday rotation.
