Loan Processor - Omaha - Open until June 10th

Five Points Bank is seeking a Loan Processor in the Omaha Market.


The candidate will provide administrative support for the loan department. Including, preparing consumer and commercial loan documents, verify and gather required loan documentation, processing collateral, payments, advances and filings.


Job Duties:
Order pre-closing requirements, i.e.; title search/commitment, appraisals, flood determinations, UCC searches, Corporate searches
Prepare consumer and commercial loan documents
Book and disburse loans on operating system after closing
Process collateral documents for recording, i.e.; titles, UCC’s and Deeds of Trust
Process loan payments and advances
Process paid off notes: release collateral, terminate UCC and mail original paid document to borrower
Update and Maintain ticklers in operating system for all outstanding ticklers, including but not limited to: insurance, final documents, title policy, tax returns, financial statements, UCC continuations
Distribute weekly reports to officers
Prepare loan denials
Miscellaneous filing and loan file maintenance
Annual audit of Note drawer and real estate taxes
Complete wire and stop payment requests
Greet and direct customers to the appropriate staff
Answer phones and answer customer questions
Administrative duties such as typing, faxing, copying and distribute mail
Create and maintain all loan files
Provide administrative assistance to loan officer

5 years of prior loan processing duties in a financial institution
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Fiserv/Premier and Laser Pro Software preferred
Effective communication skills; written and verbal
Time Management and Prioritization skills
Mathematical aptitude
Strong customer service skills

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) with continuing education classes. Five year of prior banking and loan experience required.


Standard Schedule:

Hourly full time position Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
